The Mignon combines outstanding performance with a sleek and compact design. The heavy induction motor makes the grinder very powerful, and together with the generously sized 55mm burrs, it grinds quickly, with great consistency, and produces a beautifully fluffy grind. The heavy motor and housing, featuring technology from Eureka’s commercial grinders, make this the quietest coffee grinder for home use — a real plus in the kitchen.
Ease of use is excellent thanks to the simple touchscreen on the front. You can set two dosing times to the tenth of a second — for both single and double shots. You can also grind manually on demand. Everything is very easy to adjust and read via the touchscreen.
The grind size is steplessly adjustable using the front-mounted dial. Unlike many of its competitors, when adjusting the grind, the top burr remains fixed while the motor and lower burr move. This allows the grinder to be cleaned by removing the top burr, without needing to recalibrate afterwards. Now that’s convenient!
Your espresso machine’s portafilter can be clamped underneath so you don’t have to hold it while grinding; this fork is adjustable so it can be perfectly fitted to your portafilter.
